The Doña Ana Arts Council saw great success this past weekend, as the 51st Annual Resaissance Faire saw thousands of visitors!
There was a variety of food and vendors to partake in, as well as performances and shows for all ages! Citizens from all over the area joined together to enjoy elixirs and grub, while watching jesters and knights, arm in arm.
“The crowds are BACK!”- says magic man and co-host of the Faire, Christopher Mitchell.
He noted that the turn out was much better than it had been of previous years, and he was happy and excited to see the amount of visitors they had been used to in the past.
It was an amazing experience to see how much work has gone into this event, the costumes and pageantry, and the overall joyous atmosphere this Faire brings to Las Cruces. I cannot wait to attend next year, and see what new adventure it holds!
